Terms of service
Terms of Service
Thank you for shopping with Velduro South Africa. These Terms of Service apply to purchases made through velduro.co.za and should be read together with our Returns & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy and applicable warranty terms.
By placing an order with Velduro South Africa, you agree to these terms.
Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit an order where reasonably necessary, including in the event of an incorrect price, stock discrepancy or payment issue. If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, the amount paid will be refunded.
Products and Specifications
Product specifications, components, colours, images and availability may change from time to time. We make every reasonable effort to ensure that information displayed on our website is accurate. Component specifications may be substituted where necessary due to availability, provided any substitution is of an appropriate equivalent standard.
Pricing
All prices displayed on velduro.co.za are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Delivery or other applicable charges will be shown separately where relevant.
We reserve the right to change prices and correct genuine pricing or listing errors.
Special Offers
Promotions, discounts, special offers and limited-edition products may be available for limited periods and may be subject to additional terms or stock availability.
Bike Assembly and Frame Builds
Complete bicycles, frames and frame packages may require professional assembly and setup before use.
Assembly and setup by a qualified bicycle mechanic or authorised Velduro dealer is strongly recommended. Incorrect assembly, installation or modification may affect performance, safety and warranty coverage where the problem results from that work.
Velduro South Africa and its authorised dealers can assist with professional assembly, setup and technical support.
Payment
Orders must be paid according to the payment terms agreed at checkout or at the time of purchase. Available payment methods may change from time to time.
Orders will only be released or shipped once the required payment has been confirmed.
Shipping
Available delivery or collection options will be communicated during checkout or when an order is confirmed.
Delivery dates and timeframes are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, product availability or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Please see our Shipping Policy for further information.
Returns and Consumer Rights
Our Returns & Refund Policy applies in addition to any rights you may have under applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Warranty
Velduro frames carry a 5-year warranty and the Avinox drive system carries a 2-year warranty, subject to the applicable warranty conditions.
Other bicycle components are covered by the applicable manufacturer's warranty.
Warranty coverage does not extend to normal wear and tear, misuse, crash damage, unauthorised modification, or damage resulting from incorrect assembly or maintenance, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Resale
Retail products offered through velduro.co.za are intended for end customers. Businesses wishing to become Velduro dealers should contact Velduro South Africa regarding authorised dealer arrangements.
Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Customers retain all rights and remedies available to them under applicable South African consumer legislation.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
